Hi everyone

I have been prescribed Clomid by my doctor and they told me to use it and for me I think it will work for some of my patients. I've read that it is very important to start taking the drug and it will take some time for the drug to reach its peak levels in the bloodstream and take effect. I've read that it is not recommended to take the drug within 12 hours of its use, and in my case it would take more than an hour. My doctor said that I should not be taking the drug for 10 days, so I'm thinking it's safe to take it for 10 days and then start taking it again. So what can I do?

Hi, I'm from India and I have been on this medication for over a year. My doctor prescribed Clomid for a couple of years and I have been taking it for almost 10 years. When I first started this drug I was really struggling with infertility and wanted to become pregnant and I was trying to conceive and I ended up being pregnant with my 3rd baby. It was so hard for me to conceive, but I started taking the drug and I was on it for about five years before I was able to get pregnant and I still have this issue. My GP told me to start taking it and it took about 10 days to see the effect. When I started taking it, I was very scared to give it to my partner, but as my partner and I are both fertility patients, the worry and fear of getting pregnant are still there. I went to see my GP for a consultation about Clomid and it was my first time trying to conceive and I'm so thankful to be able to have my baby. I also started taking it a little over a year ago to get some weight off my back and I am now starting to get pregnant with my third baby. I think I'm going to start taking it again and see how things go.

Thanks again for the advice!

Diana

Hi I've been taking it for about 10 years now and my doctor recommended I stop taking it. I've been told by my GP that it's safe to stop taking the drug, but I don't know if it works or not. If you have any further questions about why this is taking place please let me know and I will be happy to discuss it with my doctor

Hi everyone I've just been on Clomid for about 5 years now and my doctor said to stop taking it. I was told that it may be helpful if I stopped taking it. My doctor said to try it and see what happens. My question is, what is the best time to stop taking it?

June 12th, 2024, 01:49am

Thanks so much in advance for the information. It's so helpful and I can't imagine why anyone would do that. I know it's not a good idea to stop taking it, but can it be used in patients who are trying to conceive or those who have had fertility issues?

June 13th, 2024, 12:14am

Dana, I think it is safe to stop taking it and then start taking it again, but how do you stop taking it if you're not sure about anything? If it is not helpful, then it might be worth trying for yourself, and in that case you could do a consultation with your GP for further testing. I've been taking it for over 10 years and have had a couple of cycles of infertility and I've been trying to conceive. My doctor told me to stop taking it and start again. But what if it does work? If it does not do anything at all, then go back to the doctor.

I've been on this medication for about 10 years. It's been very helpful and I have had it for many years and I still have the same issue. I'm just trying to get pregnant now but if it doesn't work I could not conceive. My fertility was already out of my system and I am hoping I will have this issue.

I just wanted to give you a quick response to my question on Clomid and I will be happy to find a different solution from you, but I think that's just too much of a step to take. You guys can get advice on how to help with your fertility issues.
